Abstract
Fibers, which are obtained from the straws of plants that are cultivated usually, refer to as stalk fibers. These include rice, wheat, oat, maize, barley and other crops including bamboo and tree wood. Rice had a production of about 720 millions tons in 2012 and is most widely grown crops. Rice protein is favorable for consumption by humans because it contains lysine, which is hypoallergenic. In the world, wheat crop is fourth most popular. Corn stalk is thick and strong. Cotton is the most prominent and oldest known cellulose fiber. Over the last years, rapeseed production has grown rapidly. Among the cereals groups, fifth place is occupied by sorghum. Barley is widely cultivated all over the world. Oat is one of the most common cereal crops.
