Abstract
A simplified aerothermoelastic model of panel in hypersonic flow is used for topology optimization here. The aerothermoelastic system is coupled using a basic implicit (BI) scheme. The topology optimization with an implicit periodic cell constraint is performed using Solid Isotropic Material with Penalization (SIMP) model. Results are generated to maximize the thermal buckling metric for different periodicity and specifications.
